My best memories revolve around fishing, and I’ve been enjoying it for more than 50 years. That’s why I love sharing information, discovering new techniques, and new gear.
Capt. David Peralta Charleston Angler Product Specialist
Rods and reels, materials you’ve never heard of, technique variances, different brands, price points, and warranties – it can be difficult to know what fishing gear you need, and that’s why we love to help. I’ve been studying this sport a long time in a lot of places – from the Pacific islands to the Caribbean, Mexico, Gulf Coast and the Florida Keys. We’ll help you figure out what works best for exactly what you want to do.
There’s a great connection among anglers. We’ll show you our way of doing something. You try it out, put your twist on it, and all of a sudden you’re doing everything on your own, and you’re the one showing others. That’s rewarding. Here in Charleston, you can even find a favorite spot without a boat. We have great beaches, piers, docks, parks, and charter services. You can fish, go crabbing, sightsee, or just enjoy being on the water with the family.
Join The Charleston Angler crew at our Mt. Pleasant location for an evening filled with offshore action co-sponsored by Shimano and Sportsman Boats. Captains Bryan Williams, Chuck Griffin and Robert Olsen will be on site to field any questions you might have regarding this exciting fishery. Need help with your offshore rigging for the upcoming spring and summer seasons? Please spend as much time with our experts at our on site rigging station. Food and beverages will be provided for attendees.
