Amanda McLenon is a local marine biologist who started painting as a creative outlet. Most of her paintings are of local fish species, and her hope is that this art will bring a greater sense of appreciation for our natural resources. All of the materials she uses to paint on are recycled or found items - including beach wood, reclaimed windows and tiles, and oyster shells.
