Low tide on Sunday

Went fishing on the lowtide with my buddy John on Sunday morning. The fish were pushing shallow in groups chasing shrimp and mullet…. it was very Fall like. Take a trip to South Andros!

The Charleston Angler is organizing another trip! Capt. John Irwin will be taking a small group to Mars Bay Bonefish Club on South Andros Island, Bahamas.

Nice Key West Permit

Mike McShane of South Carolina recently caught this nice Permit off of Key West(towards the Marquesas).  He was fishing with Dr. Byron Bailey,MD and used a 10lb spinning rod with a live Blue Crab.  Mike serves as Chairman of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Board and is a customer of The Charleston Angler.  Way [...]
