Fall is the time for big reds. We headed out one October afternoon with a live well full of mullet and a cooler full of beer. Fishing was slow at first and we didn’t get anything to shake a head until almost 3. Then it was like someone flipped a switch and the bite turned on. We ended up with 11 bruisers, 1 big Ray, a couple of Sharks, and a blue. The last fish stuck itself to the bottom for over 20 minutes and then a snapped a brand new GLoomis in half. After that we decided to call it a day and head to the house.
