Red Fishing Last Thursday

Thursday January 29, 2009
Having the day off and seeing the wind calm Captain Tucker and I struck out to see if we could find a couple schools of redfish.

Well, we found the fish, but the recent cold weather had them extremley tight lipped. We watched fish after fish, school after school swim by our baits and out of probably 200 plus fish seen Tucker got two fish to actually eat. Lost both fish to pulled hooks.

Baits thrown were various soft plastics, GULPS, and several different fly patterns.

Guess that’s why the call it fishing and not catching!

Came home with a few decent pictures though.

Regards

John
